CHARGE Syndrome: Keys to Successful Education and Development
Sioux Falls - September 16, 2010
There are many factors that make high stress inherent for children with CHARGE Syndrome. The difficulty the outside world has in understanding these children only increases the stress factors further. This presentation will examine the sources of stress, both internal and external, and suggest ways in which the emotional health of each child can be treated as a priority. Multi-sensory issues will be a specific focus as we discuss effective strategies to provide behavioral support as well as other issues that have an impact on children from infancy to young adulthood.
